ImperialBook will provide eBook sales and distribution services through its platform.
Service Availability
- 99.9% uptime guaranteed
- Scheduled maintenance during off-peak hours with 48-hour notice
Performance Metrics
- Page load time: 95% within 3 seconds
- eBook download speed: 90% within 30 seconds for files up to 10MB
- Search functionality: 95% of results within 2 seconds
Customer Support
- Email response: Within 24 hours
- Issue resolution: 80% within 48 hours
Data Protection and Security
- Daily backups with 99.99% data retention
- Quarterly security audits
- Compliance with data protection laws
eBook Delivery
- 99% of purchases available within 5 minutes
- Compatibility with major eReader devices and applications
Compensation for Service Failures
- Uptime failure: 5% discount on next purchase per hour of downtime
- Performance failures: Free month of premium service after three consecutive months of failure
Intellectual Property
Each party retains ownership of its pre-existing intellectual property.
Confidentiality
- Parties agree to keep confidential information secure and not disclose it without written consent.
Termination
- The 30-day written notice is required for termination by either party.
Dispute Resolution
- Parties will attempt to resolve disputes through negotiation and then mediation if necessary.
